  3. Click Advanced Options> Troubleshoot > Advanced Options> Startup Settings> Restart
  4. In the new screen that appears, click on the option 4 to log in Safe mode.

  5. Type mdsched.exe in that box and click on OK.
  6. On the Windows Memory Diagnostic window that opens, click on Restart now and check for problems (recommended). Now your PC will restart.

Windows will perform the scans on the restart which can take 15-20 minutes to complete. Check if your problem gets resolved.

Solution 2: Revert Recent Changes

This issue may also spring up due to any recent hardware or software changes that you might have performed on your PC. So, try removing all the recent hardware and software to see if you can fix the issue.

Solution 3: Disable Your Anti-Virus Program

Solution 4: Disable Automatic Paging

Disabling Automatic paging is another method that may solve this Blue screen error. Follow these steps:

  1. Press Windows key + E together on your keyboard to open File Explorer.
  2. Right-click on This PC and choose Properties.
  3. On the left pane, select Advanced system settings.
  4. Go to the Advanced tab and click on Settings under Performance section.
  5. Navigate to the Advanced tab and click Change under Virtual memory.
  6. Uncheck the box next to Automatically manage paging file size for all drivers. Click OK.
  7. Restart your computer to check if the issue is resolved.

Solution 5: Update Device Drivers

Outdated drivers may cause a multitude of issues on your PC including this BSOD error. Follow these steps to update your device drivers:

  1. Go to Control Panel, view by large icons, and select Device Manager.
  2. If you see any driver with a yellow exclamation, right-click on it and select Update driver software.
  3. On the next window, click Search automatically for updated driver software.
