Resolve Router Error Code 448 With Easy Hacks

Router Error code 448 occurs while you want to install or reinstall a software for your router. Verify Internet Connection

First, open the faster web-browser and open the router login page. Here, enter a correct Login ID and password to sign in the router software page. By default, the username is “Admin” and password is “Password”. Remember, both of the username and password are case-sensitive.

In the Basic-Home screen, you need to click on the “Advanced” tab. Now, click on the “Connection Status” button in the Internet Port pane. Here, you need to check the IP address, Subnet mask, default gateway, DCHP server, DNS server, and lease details etc.

To return the status of all the items to 0, tap in the “Release” button. After that, to refresh the screen, click on “Renew” button.  Finally, to exit from the screen, click on “Close Window’ button. Remove DNS Error

Sometimes, a DNS server settings error create conflicts in establishing a  smooth internet connection. Therefore, you have to remove the DNS server error by modifying the Network settings.

Click on the “Start” button and open the Control Panel window from the Start menu. After that, click on “Networking and the Internet” and choose the option ” View network status and tasksunder it. Now, select “Change Adapter Settings” and right-click on “Local Area Connection”. Then, select Properties and in the Properties window, you have to choose “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”. After that, choose the “Properties” to modify their settings respectively. For both in IPV4 and IPV6, click on “Obtain an IPv6 address automaticallyand choose the option “Obtain DNS servers address automatically”. Finally, tap on “OK” to finish the process.
