First of all, you have to open the Windows host file on your computer where the error code occurs. After that, place the insertion point and also type the IP address of the server.

Then, tap on the TAB button for the first time and then write down the server name on the blank space. Now, click on the File option and then tap on Save. Next, press down the Exit button and strive to launch the company file.

If the first two solutions are not helpful for you then creating a new folder for the company file can solve the error. So, at the initial step, turn on your hosting computer and try to create a new folder.

After that, you have to share the folder and set up it. If you are prompted to give permission then allow them one by one. Next, copy the Quickbooks Database file to the new folder and finally, launch the company file using the multi-user mode.

At first, open Quickbooks and start pressing the F2 key. It will help you to open the Product Information on the screen. Now, look at the lower left and find the Local Server Information tab.

First of all, open the Windows Run Dialog box and click on it. After that, write down services.msc in it and press the OK button. Now, select QuickBooksDB19 (2009), QuickBooksDB18 (2008) or QuickBooksDB17 (2007) by right-clicking and tap on Stop icon.

Again right-tap on the Start button and exit the tab. Check all the extensions for the known file. Then, right-click on the Windows Start and then choose Explore option. After that, tap on the Tools and then Folder.

Check the View tab and click on both the “Hide extensions”  for the “Known files” boxes. For once more, tap on View icon and choose Show hidden files and folders. Now, tap on Yes and then OK. Restart your device and check if the h202 error Quickbooks got vanished or still appears on the display.

Solution 6: Remove and Recreate the .ND File

At the initial step, navigate to the Windows Search and type “ *.ND”. Then, press down the Enter button. From the results right-click on the .ND file and then tap on the Delete button.

If you are prompted then give permission and click on the Start button. Now, choose All Programs, Quickbooks and Quickbooks Database Server Manager simultaneously. Select the Scan Folder tab and tap on Add Folder.

Finally, tap on Scan and once the scanning gets finished click on Close. Check if the error still occurs or not.
