The screen flashes ”A script on this page may be busy or may have stopped responding.” You are left with two options “Stop Script” or “Continue.” Click on the Stop Script button.

If the prompt comes back, then you have to set the preference back to its default value. Type “about:config” in the address bar and click on Enter. Select the “I accept the risk!” to continue.
Type “dom.max_script_run_time” in the “about:config” page. Right click to get to the Reset option. Click on it and the changes will get reset to the initial setting.
4.Block Scripts From Running

- Download the JavaScript Toggle On and Off extension.
- Go to the menu button and open the Add-ons Manager tab.
- Select the Extensions panel.
- The JavaScript Toggle On and Off button will open, click on the Options button.
- In the Blacklist text box type the URL of the page with the glitch.
- Finally, click on Save.
The problematic domain name gets added to the list. It will now block the site, thus there would be no unresponsive script error.
