1. Open The App As Administrator

This action will activate the Disk Cleanup scan. It will start calculating the junk and other temporary files and after a few minutes, it will give you a Cleanup option in a dialog box. On that dialog box, you need to check the box beside the “Temporary Files” and hit the OK option.

The reason for choosing the Temporary Files is that most of the time, it contains the largest amount of junk files in it and cleaning it up will save you a lot of space. After that, if you need more space, you can also clean other files by checking the box beside them.



4. Run The “sfc /scannow” Command

Launch the WinX menu by pressing” Windows Key + X”. Now, from that menu, you need to click on the Command Prompt (Admin). This will open up the Command Prompt (Admin) box. On that box, you need to type “sfc /scannow” and then hit Enter.

When the scan is over, you need to follow the instructions which will appear on your screen to apply the fix and recover the corrupted fix.
