Step 1

You have to check the dialog box which is located beside the “I have read and accepted the License Terms for using this software option.” Then, move to the next steps.

 

Note:- If you are looking for a manual set up, then you should tap on the Manual Configuration link that can be present at the bottom. On some of the Linksys router, you might see an option which is “I want to skip Setup and configure my router manually,” check this option and proceed to the next step.

Step 7

 

After entering the login page of the Linksys router, you have to enter the Network Name and Password in the given field. After that, click on the Next option.

 

In case, you use a wireless computer for the smart setup procedure, then you will receive a message saying ‘Reconnect to your network’. In those cases, you have to connect the wireless computer with the new wireless settings and proceed further.

Step 8

 

You have to give a router password in the ‘Create a router password’ field. After that, click on the Next option.
