Way 7: Re-register your Echo Device

To do so, you need to follow the complete process on your computer, laptop, or smartphone. 

  1. Launch a web browser and visit the official website of Amazon. 
  2. Enter the username and password for logging into your account. 
  3. Select your Amazon account and click on the Content and Devices link. 
  4. Move to the Manage Your Content and Devices menu bar and select Devices. 
  5. Look for your Echo device in the list available and click the three dots next to it. 
  6. Select the Deregister option and click ‘OK’ to confirm the deregistration process.
