How To Fix CTF Loader Issues On Windows 10? [Fixed]

The CTFloader (Collaborative Translation Framework) helps to handle and support the handwriting and voice recognition in the Microsoft Programs. It mainly runs in the Task Manager wherever you use the Microsoft office.

Method 1: Disable the CTFMON.EXE file

  • Hold the Windows and the R key together to open the Run dialog box.
  • In the Run dialog box, write “services.msc”. Hit the Enter button next. 
  • In the “Services’ window, search for the “Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service”.
  • Right-click on the “Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service”.
  • Choose the “Properties” option from the drop-down menu.
  • Tap on the “Disabled” option from the drop-down menu now. Next, click on the ‘Ok” button.

By just doing the above steps, you will be able to disable the CTF loader. But if you are still unable to do that, it is suggested to go to the next section to fix the issues that are causing in the CTF loader.

Method 2: Update the Operating System

If you use an outdated version for Windows, you can face issues in the CTF loader. To update the Windows 10 system, you need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • Go to the Start Button. From there. Go to the “Settings App’.
  • Tap on the “Update & Security” option. Go to the “Windows Update” option next.
  • Now, click on the “Check for Updates” option.

Method 3: Do a System Restore

  • Go to the Taskbar and from there, go to the Search box.
  • In the Search box, write “Control Panel”. From the list of the results, tap on the Control Panel. 
  • Now, go to the Control Panel’s Search box and write “recovery”.
  • Tap on the “Recovery” option next from the Control Panel window and choose the “Open System restore”.option.
  • Tap on the Next button and click on the “Restore system files and setting” dialog box.
  • Tap on the “Show more restore points” checkbox to get the additional restore points.
  • Next, choose the “Scan for affected programs” option and then tap on the “Close” button.
  • Now, tap on the “Next” button and when the process gets over click on the “Finish” button.

Method 4: Delete the CTFMON.EXE Files 

If you are still facing issue on the CTF loader, you need to remove all the ctfmon.exe files from the device. And to do that, you need to go through the below-mentioned steps:

  • Hold the Windows and the E key together. Next, hold the Window and the F key together.
  • Write “ctfmon.exe” in the search field and hit the “Enter” button next.
  • Choose all the “ctfmon.exe” file and right-click on it.
  • Tap on the “Delete’ button next and remove all the ctfmon.exe files.

Method 5: Use Task Scheduler

You can fix the error by just running the Task Scheduler on Windows 10. To run the Task Scheduler, you need to perform the below-mentioned steps:

  • Hold the Windows and the R keys together to open the “Run” dialog box.
  • The Run dialog box will pop up on the screen. In the dialog box, write “taskschd.msc”.
  • Hit the “Enter” button next. This will open the Task Scheduler window.
  • In that window, tap on the “Microsoft” windows. Next, move to the “Windows” folder.
  • Now, tap on the “TextServicesFramework” folder. Now, click on the “MSCTFMonitor”.
  • Choose the ‘Disable” option from the drop-down menu. 

Now, open the CTF loader and check for the issues associated with the application. But if you are still getting any error in then you can run a full scan of the system to fix the error.
